Work Time Policy:

The total working hours are 9 hours in a day. Depending on the team, nature of the job role, the working time may vary.

We understand that there might be late login at certain circumstances however in a month more than 3 days late login will be considered single day absent. If any employee leaves exceeds more than the allocated leave in a month then salary will be subject to deduction.

Work Policy

Employees of pheonixsolutions shouldn’t be involved in business in the same field not allowed to contact the client outside of organization. Ex employees of pheonixsolutions shouldn’t be in touch with the client for the period of 48 months from the last day of organization. If it finds then they may face legal actions under the law of Indian government.

Leave Policy

Public holidays details are available in the sheet. All employees at pheonixsolutions eligible to avail public holidays. If anyone works on public holiday then compoff will be given for working on public holiday.

All employees are eligible to take 1 Casual Leave(12 casual leave in a year) in a month and 7 medical leave in a year. Every month, 1 casual leave will be added to employee

Casual leave will carry forward to next year and maximum casual leave can be taken at a time is 3.

Medical leave can’t be carried forward to next year. Maximum medical leave can be taken is 3 at a time.

If an employee takes more than allocated leaves in a month then basic salary will be deducted from their salary in the respective month.

Employees who are on notice period are not allowed to take casual leave. Only medical leaves are allowed and employees are requested to submit the medical certificate for Medical leave.

Though, shift timing may vary depending on the team. Only 2 late logins are allowed in a month and exceeding this limit will lead to LOP(Loss of pay). Manager/lead can validate and have rights to approve/disapprove depending on the nature of the late logins.

At times, employees may be requested to support inorder to continue the business if there is a dependency.

Confidential Information Policy:

Every employee must adhere to a confidential information policy. The confidential information such as Salary details, Access details, SSH key, Login details, Billing , customer quotation,etc.needs to be maintained at highly confidential. If the information shared without reporting manager/Team Lead approval then it will be considered as Policy breach.

Probation Period:

After joining Pheonixsolutions, the employee will be on probation for 6 months. At the end of 6 months, the employee will be placed as a permanent role depending on the performance. During this probation period, the employee will be monitored by your manager/supervisor and they will be evaluated.

If the company finds the employee doesn’t meet the expectation then Pheonixsolutions may have the right to terminate the employment.

PIP(Performance Improvement Program):

We at pheonixsolutions providing world class service/products to our customer. We believe customer satisfaction is the key for business. We do periodic reviews of the entire organization and provide enough training to improve our company standard.

Here comes a Performance improvement program where we move anyone who performs low or doesn't meet expectations will be moved to the PIP program and provide various assignments, projects, deadline targets to improve their performance. If an employee completes the work assigned during the PIP program will be retained by the organization.

The moving of PIP is decided by the team lead/manager of the team and retaining an employee will be decided by the management, manager/teamlead based on the assessment result.

Tech Team Roles:

Junior System Engineer - Trainee:

During the probation period(6 months), the employee role will be Junior System engineer - Trainee.

Junior System Engineer:

After completing the probation period, the new role for the employee will be Junior System Engineer. The role change will be purely based upon review on employee performance.

System Engineer:

After completing 1 year at Pheonixsolutions, the new role for the employee will be System Engineer. The role change will be purely based upon review on employee performance.

Senior System Engineer:

After completing 2 years at Pheonixsolutions, the role for the tech will be Senior System Engineer. The role change will be purely based upon review on tech performance.

Development Team Roles:

Responsibility:

Each team/employees roles and responsibility may depend on team. Few of the team responsibilities are mentioned below.

Tech Team Responsibility:

SLA time should be met on all medium(WhatsApp, Skype, Slack, Mail) for the entire tech team.

Oncall Tech:

Oncall is the primary tech who act as a front role to maintain SLA for the tech team.

SLA(Service Level Agreement):

Service Level Agreement refers to response time/resolution time for the services that we are offering to customer. If the SLA doesn’t meet on any medium then it will be considered as service breach by Pheonixsolutions. The following are general SLA for most of our service. It may vary depends on the customer and the tech may have to check with their corresponding manager

Mail:

Resolution time: 6 hour

Skype:

Response time: 15 seconds

Resolution time: 1 hour

Slack:

WhatsApp:

Nagios:

Resolution time: 30 minutes

Secondary Tech:

  1. Secondary tech is responsible for verifying the replies when primary tech post the reply on slack chat.

  2. When Primary tech is not available then secondary tech will act as a primary tech and handles chats, mails,etc.,

DevTeam Responsibility:

  1. Maintain code on pheonixsolutions gitlab. The login details will be shared by your manager/mentor

  2. Maintain Development document “MyDrive” > “Development” > “Client”

Mentoring:

Mentor:

Mentor will be responsible for their kid actions and should aware of kid works.

Kid:

Kid should update their works/tasks and report to your mentor.

Warnings/Terminations

If any employee violates the policy or not adhering the policy of pheonixsolutions may receive a warning from the manager or admin department. If an employee receives more than 2 warnings in a year it leads to termination of the employment.

If the rating for an employee is poor for continuous 2 cycle will be considered as Inadequate for the role which may lead to service termination. At pheonixsolutions, we want to provide a better quality of service/product to our customer.

If a company finds racism, unlawful things during the employment then the employee is forced to terminate without any prior notice. The employee may face legal actions as per government law.
