Do migration between servers

Basic

As part of Basic package, we will perform following single domain migration which includes website, Database migration.

Requirement for Gig:

1. Source server access/Control Panel access - Mandatory

2. Destination Server access/Control Panel access - Mandatory

3. Number of Domain Name - Mandatory.

4. Nameserver/Registrar Access - Optional

5. Webserver version - Optional

6. Php version - Optional

How to handle order

Please make sure we obtain all the information from customer. There are multiple scenarios where gig can be handled.

Preparation

Compare both source and destination server and make sure both has same applications.

Implementation:

1. After we have all above information, migrate the website contents, Database

2. Edit your local etc/hosts and make sure that domain is working fine.

3. Change the nameserver of the domain to new server or change the below DNS records.

   1. ‘A’ record for the domain

   2. ‘CNAME’ record for www(if necessary)

   3. ‘MX’ record for the domain(if necessary)

   4. ‘SPF’ TXT record for the domain(if necessary)

   5. ‘DKIM’ TXT record for the domain(if necessary)

   6. ‘DMARC’ TXT record for the domain(if necessary)

1. We handle only single domain migration as part of this gig. If there is more than 1 domain then we can instruct the customer to go with different package.

1. Will you perform email migration as part of this gig?

No, this package is specifically for website and Database migration.

2. Can you help you on changing the nameservers as part of this gig?

Ofcourse, we will help on changing the nameservers. The buyer has to submit registrar/nameserver details at the time of placing an order

3. Will you help on theme, plugin and license related issue as part of this gig?

This gig is specially for migration. We shall try our level best to resolve such issues however we can't guarantee 100% for the resolution.

4. Can you help on upgrading/downgrading application as part of this gig?

No, it will be consider as separate task. It will be quoted separately and worked based upon terms and conditions.

5. Can you resolve coding related issue as part of this gig?

No, the buyer has to get in touch with developer to resolve the coding related issue. However, we shall try level best to provide as much as input from our end

Email migration from Gsuite to Cpanel Server checklist

1. Enable IMAP:
