Plesk Installation on Windows

Step 1

  1. Log in to the server via RDC.

  2. RDC (Remote Desktop Connection)

Step 2

  1. After you log in, please ensure the network is good or bad.

  2. Go to the browser and download the below URL

 https://installer-win.plesk.com/plesk-installer.exe

Step 3

  1. After downloading the Plesk installer,

  2. Launch the Windows command prompt

  3. Give the below command lines and run the Plesk Installer

  4. The installer will start preparing the necessary components.

  5. Change the working directory to the one where you saved the installer binary, then run the following command.

 plesk-installer.exe --select-product-id=panel --select-release-latest --installation-type=recommended

Step 4

  1. After running the command, it takes between thirty minutes and an hour (on average)

  2. Read and accept the Plesk End-User License Agreement.

  3. Choose Installation Components

  4. Select the desired installation components. You can choose Plesk Edition, additional features, and any specific components you need

Step 5

  1. Configure Plesk Installation

  2. Choose the installation type: Typical, Recommended, or Custom.

  3. Set the administrator's password for Plesk.

Step 6

  1. Configure Server Components

  2. Configure the necessary server components, such as web server (IIS or Apache), database server (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server), and mail server.

  3. Choose Additional Settings:

  4. Configure additional settings such as IP addresses, PHP versions, DNS servers, etc.

Step 7

  1. Start the Installation

  2. Click on the "Install" or "Start" button to initiate the installation process.

  3. The installer will download and install the selected components and configure Plesk on your Windows Server.

  4. Complete the Installation

  5. you will see a confirmation message once the installation is finished

  6. You can access the Plesk control panel by opening a web browser and entering the server's IP address or domain name

  7. It's the Plesk login page
